That's why this recipe for Crock Pot Roast Beef is so brilliant -- you just throw a few ingredients into the slow cooker, and eight hours later, you have a hearty meal. There's only one pot to clean, and you can spend your time shopping and wrapping presents instead of cooking.
Serve with roasted potatoes and a green salad. Or slice thin for sandwiches with crusty bread and melted Swiss cheese over top.
Crock Pot Roast Beef from Use Real Butter
- 3-5 lb chuck roast
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, diced
Combine ingredients in crock pot. Cook on high for 8 hours.
