Shaken Iced Tea Lemonade or the new Cervezalima?Of all the changes Starbucks announced last week, the one I'm most excited about is the news that they're going to start serving wine and beer. Bring it on, 'bucks, especially if you're going to use the same coffee cup sizes for wine. Give me a Venti Zinfandel, and make it snappy! I've got a playgroup meeting in five minutes. I'll take it in a paper cup, thanks.
Come to think of it, I smell some synergy between coffee and booze. You're going to start selling White Russians, right? Because that would be awesome. Know what else would be awesome? If you could offer this fabulous list of coffee/beer/wine drinks I just invented. Just a few suggestions for you, gratis.
Pumpkin Beer Latte -- A new seasonal blockbuster! A pint of pumpkin beer with a nice, foamy head of steamed milk and a dusting of nutmeg.
Shiraz Tazzoberry -- Blended drink with iced tea, Shiraz, and berries, topped with green tea powder.
Pinot Grigio Mint Chip Frappuccino -- Pinot Grigio blended with mint chip ice cream with a shot of espresso.
Chocolate Stoutaccino -- Chocolate stout blended with ice and a shot of espresso, topped with whipped cream.
Caramel Chardonnacciato -- Chardonnay with coffee and a swirl of caramel sauce, topped with whipped cream.
Merlot Chantico -- A hearty, concentrated hot chocolate with Merlot that's been evaporating in a glass somewhere behind the bar for at least a week.
Peppermint Pinot Noir -- For the holidays, Pinot Noir with a shot of peppermint syrup served with a candy cane.
Shaken Tazzo Cervezalima -- Half Corona, half iced green tea, with a squirt of lime juice syrup.
Chai Riesling Latte -- Sweetened chai syrup with steamed milk and spice-mulled Riesling.
Amber Alenogg -- Another holiday treat, amber ale blended with eggnog, shot of rum by request.
Which ones are you dying to try?

The mint onbe sounds good
Don't they already have an alcohol line? Are they just incorporating that 'in store'?
Not trying to be mean, but all those sound horrible to me! lol. Milk and beer would never work, neither would wine and coffee mixed.sorry
Have you ever had a hot toddy? I make it with hot chamomile tea, honey and bourbon. It's my favorite winter drink. Its even better with flavored teas. Too bad they won't be serving hard liquor at Starbucks!
I love coffee. I love wine, beer chardonnay... These however, sound disgusting!
do you think they'll these drinks during day hours? i'm getting scared.
