vending machineLong gone are the days when a typical vending machine stocked only candy, pop, and maybe a bag of chips.

Now, the selection of products found within food- and drink-dispensing machines rivals that of the grocery store. Before you know it, we'll be dumping buckets of coins into the slot and extracting a four-course meal -- plus wine! -- from the bottom.

You'd be surprised what you can find inside a vending machine these days -- or maybe you already know. Test your knowledge of which of these vended products are real or fake in our vending machine pop quiz.

Can you buy the following products in a vending machine? Answer "Yes" or "No" for each one.

1. Caviar

2. Baby carrots

3. Insects

4. Live lobsters

5. Wine

6. French fries

7. Flowers, pizza, and cupcakes -- at the same time

8. Bacon

9. Sushi

And now: The answers.

1. Caviar

2. Baby carrots

Yes. Baby carrot vending machines are being tested in two schools in Cincinnati and Syracuse in an attempt to get kids to eat healthier.

3. Insects

No. Eating insects may be the newest food trend, but as far as we know, you can't buy them yet from a machine.

4. Live lobsters

Yes. A machine in Maine restaurant lets players select live lobsters for dinner.

5. Wine

Yes. You can purchase wine by the bottle or even by the jug if you're so inclined.

6. French fries

Yes. Vending machines in Australia serve up French fries -- hot and fresh. (Please, can we import this!)

7. Flowers, pizza, and cupcakes -- at the same time

Yes. Coco-Cola's Happiness Machine dispenses flower, pizza, sandwiches, and cupcakes to non-suspecting customers.

8. Bacon

No. One would think given bacon's popularity it would be found in a vending machine -- unfortunately, no such luck.

9. Sushi

No. Ew. Gross.
