By now we all know the story of Steven Slater by heart: The JetBlue flight attendant told off a rude passenger, then grabbed two beers from the galley and dramatically exited the plane via emergency slide.
What we didn't know until now? Which brand of beer he grabbed. According to TMZ, Slater's beer of choice that fateful day was Blue Moon -- Coors' Belgian-style ale, which is JetBlue's newest addition to the in-flight beer list.
But before you predict an endorsement deal for Slater, check out what a representative from Blue Moon Brewing Company had to say about the situation.
"We have not been asked nor do we plan to promote our brand in this manner for the sake of publicity. There were some very serious allegations made surrounding this incident and our company is not in the business of trivializing public safety for publicity or potential financial gain."
It looks like the beer company is trying to separate themselves from the rogue flight attendant. And, it's no wonder: Slater was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment and could face up to seven years in jail.
Still, he's being hailed as a hero -- a working class hero, to be exact. It's only a matter of time before Americans start chugging Blue Moon in his likeness.
