The following is a guest post from our sponsor, Hershey's Milk Chocolate, for S'mores.
For more than 80 years, HERSHEY®'S Milk Chocolate Bars have been the key ingredients for America's favorite summer toasted treat -- S'mores. As a staple for outdoor fun, S'mores doubles as a delicious snack and fun activity for families to create everyday memories.
There are multiple ways to enjoy this "snacktivity," prepare great-tasting S'mores, and build lasting S'mores moments with your family. Create this warm, gooey treat at backyard get-togethers, during family game nights, or anytime you want to create a S'mores moment.
Fireside S'mores
Top one graham cracker square with half a HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Bar; set aside. Toast a large marshmallow over a hot campfire or fire pit using a long-handled fork. Once toasted, carefully slide marshmallow onto chocolate-topped graham cracker square. Top with remaining graham cracker half and gently press together.
On the Grill
Preheat grill to medium-hot. Build S'mores by placing half a HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Bar and one large marshmallow between two graham cracker squares. Wrap in aluminum foil and then place on grill for up to 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallow is melted. The result is a warm and gooey S'mores treat -- perfect for any outdoor event.
In the Microwave
Top one graham cracker square with half a HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Bar and one large marshmallow, then place on microwaveable plate. Microwave on high 7 to 10 seconds or until marshmallow puffs and chocolate begins to melt. Carefully remove plate from microwave and cover each S'mores with remaining graham cracker square. S'mores will be HOT. Microwave ovens vary; heating times are approximate.
*Adult supervision recommended for all usage occasions.
