I knew that food trucks were trendy, but I had no idea it was this out of control.
A new ice cream van in London is serving up ... wait for it ... frozen treats exclusively for dogs.
That's right. Four-legged friends can choose between two tasty flavors: "Dog Eat Hog World," which is gammon and chicken sorbet topped with a biscuit and served in a cone; or "Canine Cookie Crunch," which is a combination of mixed dog biscuits and ice cream.
How ridiculous that we would go to so much trouble for our pets. And, yet, the worst part is: I would totally buy this for my dog!
This is taking the gourmet dog biscuit trend to a whole new level. But given the tendency of pet-owners to spend an obscene amount of money on their pets, I think a dog ice cream truck idea is a home-run.
Ordinarily, I never feed people food to my dog, Jango. But she luuuuuves ice cream, so I've been known to cave in occasionally. (And before everyone jumps in to tell me that I'm poisoning my dog, let me just say it is a once-in-a-while treat. And my vet said it was OK. Sheesh.)
What I like about this dog ice cream truck is that it was developed by a team of scientists who determined it to be both delicious to and safe for dogs.
Another cool thing about it (pun intended)? The truck plays the Scooby Doo theme song instead of the traditional annoying chime. Please, please bring this here to The States!

I just think it only fair that the truck serve people ice cream too. No fair that it be only for the dogs!
My dogs would undoubtedly love it, but I doubt they will be getting any.
Dogs are not people.
I give my dog popsicles
No. I wouldn't be getting my dog any (if I had a dog).

No but my gram used to feed (regualr/people) ice cream to one of my other dogs and I think it rotted her teeth =(
