You know what they say: All good things must come to an end -- even ice cream, apparently.
Baskin-Robbins is retiring five of 31 flavors. And there's nothing you can do about it.
But it's not all bad news. The ice cream chain is making room for five new flavors in celebration of National Ice Cream Day (yesterday) and the store's 65th anniversary. Which flavors got the axe?
The following flavors are being retired to what the company jokes is the "Deep Freeze":
- Caramel Praline Cheesecake
- Campfire S'mores
- Apple Pie a La Mode
- Superfudge Truffle
- French Vanilla
Luckily, I have no attachment to those varieties -- save for French Vanilla. French Vanilla, really? How do you retire such a stand-up classic flavor?
No word yet on what the replacements will be, but if Baskin-Robbins is going to mess tradition (I still can't get over vanilla!) the new flavors better be darn good!

Is your favorite flavor being retired? Which new flavors are you hoping will be added to the menu?
