Thanksgiving Turkey: White or Dark Meat?

Last week I blogged about a very pressing Thanksgiving turkey dilemma: to brine or not to brine. Today we ponder yet another holiday poultry predicament: white or dark meat? The jury is out on which is healthier, but I'm more interested in which kind CafeMoms prefer.


An article in The New York Times last year argues that it's difficult to determine whether white or dark meat is healthier. True, white meat has less fat and calories than dark. But dark meat has more iron, zinc, B6, and B12.
