With the Masters currently underway, you can get into the spirit with an Arnold Palmer (nonalcoholic cocktail named after a golf legend, made of 50% lemonade and 50% tea). But you can really get into the spirit with a spiked Arnold Palmer.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

But for the best taste, you can't just throw any ol' booze in there. The secret is ...

Sweet tea vodka.

I introduced my northern friends to sweet tea vodka about a year ago (my favorite brand is Firefly). We used to drink it all the time down South, but here in NYC, it was unheard of. You could only buy it at this one warehouse downtown. Darn Yankees.

But in the last nine months, sweet tea vodka has increased in popularity and now, almost every liquor store and bar sells it. I like to think I had a little something to do with it (okay, not really, but I did hook a ton of people onto the stuff).

The actual vodka is just flavored, and while it's perfectly good on it's own, I like to mix it 50/50 with lemonade, creating the more fun version of the Arnold Palmer.

Have you ever tried sweet tea vodka?
