Does your teenager love to cook? Even if it isn't on his or her list of favorite things to do, teens are capable of cooking basic meals on those nights when you're just too busy to do it for them. Here are three dinners ideas that are easy enough for teens to make:
It's always good to have pre-made pizza dough on hand. Teens can roll it out, top with jarred tomato sauce, cheese, and their favorite toppings, and pop in the oven at 450 for 10-15 minutes.
It's easy to brown taco meat and mix in a taco seasoning packet on the stove-top. Teens can then assemble tacos using flour tortillas (warmed in the microwave if needed), cheese, shredded lettuce, and jarred salsa.
Lasagna is easy to assemble using layers of jarred pasta sauce, no-cook noodles, ricotta cheese mixed with Parmesan and 1 egg, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover at bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
