Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancakes for Breakfast

It was only a matter of time before the bacon and chocolate craze hit the breakfast scene.

I love eating bacon alongside my chocolate chip pancakes; in fact, it's probably my favorite breakfast meal. Mo's Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix from Vosges incorporates chocolate-porky goodness inside the pancakes. It's pure genius!

Vosges adds chunks of their uber-popular bacon candy bar (made of Applewood bacon, Alderwood sea salt, and milk chocolate) to the traditional buttermilk flapjack mix.

Twelve bucks is a bit pricey for pancake mix, though. I'm curious how well it would work if I just threw bacon into my Aunt Jemima-version of chocolate chip pancake batter ... only one way to find out.
