This week's featured "Ingredient of the Week" is Parmesan Cheese. Today, we're using it to make easy Parmesan Cheese Crisps, the perfect high-protein, low-carb snack.
Made of melted Parmesan cheese, these little crisps can be eaten like crackers with your favorite dip or spread. Or, you can drape warm crisps over an upturned glass to create little "cups" and fill with fruit or veggies. They also look pretty as a salad garnish.
Here's how to make 'em:
Parmesan Cheese Crisps
Parmesan cheese (hard)
Parchment paper
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Grate Parmesan cheese into little piles, spaced about 2-inches apart. Bake at 325 for 5-8 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
