Finally! The inevitable has happened: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson broke up. For now. Whatever that means. Does anyone ever break up "until Thursday"? I guess someone is still clinging to hope that we'll get a Selena Gomez-Justin Bieber reunion. (And if that happens, I'll respond with all the maturity of Taylor Swift.) It could happen -- Kristen's lawyers could force Robert to live up to his no-breakups-until-August contract. Aw crap! I was going to stop bringing up that rumor.

Well anyway, it's the end of an era. And to be honest, I'm going to miss Robsten. They were A LOT of fun. I never tired of tracking the ups and downs of their relationship, the stunning contradictions coming from all those tabloid sources. What will we do without paparazzi photos of Rob and Kristen looking glum together at the airport? I do not know. So let us look back and remember all happy contented times. People magazine originally reported the news over the weekend -- and regardless of their being a gossip trade, they still are a credible source. So, yeah. Sounds like this really might be it. Single tear. 

Now. I think you and I both know that following such a juicy piece of gossip, hundreds, if not thousands, of rumors are bound to surface. I can see the headlines now: Kristen Stewart Gets Actual Fang Implants and Bites Robert in His Sleep!; Robert Pattinson Seen Having 4-Way Sex in Broad Daylight Post-KStew Breakup!; KStew and RPattz Get Back Together for 10 Minutes Before Having an All-Out Brawl!

But one rumor in particular that's already made its way to the Internet has caught my eye: The rumor that Rob and Kristen are still living together.

It's a sad, sad day, everyone!!!! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have really broken up, you guys!!!! No really. No REALLLY. Do you notice all the soggy tear marks over these sentences?!!! Do you notice all the exclamation points to try to convince you we really believe this latest bit of gossip, and that we're absolutely distraught?!!!! Okay so, no, it's probably just all bullshit again. Or a day that ends in "a-y." Yes, we know we all have a right to be skeptical. But we have to go with this, you know, because it's our duty to the entire Bella and Edward-loving world. We have to be positively wrecked by this news even though these two break up every other day and it doesn't surprise us in the least.

Yet there is one thing about this recent rumor that makes us wonder if this time, it's really, kinda, sorta true, and that's ....

Looks like there's trouble in paradise for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart -- yet again. (Or is there?!) The couple reportedly got into a huge, blowout fight on Rob's 27th birthday a few days ago, and the result wasn't pretty. Kristen apparently had plans to spend a carefree day with Rob, swimming and doing rich people stuff, but instead wound up whiling away the hours pacing around like a lunatic and chain smoking cigarettes. Festive!

Here is why I need to make becoming friends with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson a priority. Apparently Rob bought Kristen a karaoke machine a few weeks ago. Their very own karaoke machine! So they can have singing parties at Kristen's place without having to deal with those pesky fans always wanting to snap photos with them.

A source told The Sun, "They both absolutely love karaoke. They used to go to bars whenever they could, but more often than not they’d get hassled by people. So Rob surprised Kristen with their own machine. It’s top-of-the-range stuff with built in disco lights, a huge screen, and even its own mini stage." OMG! Count me in, you guys. Today is a very special day. Do you know why? Because it's Robert Pattinson's 27th birthday, everybody! The Stir's favorite Taurus has had one hell of a year. Poor Rob's heart was smashed to bits, he had to swim through a crazy scandal, then he trotted all over the globe for the Breaking Dawn 2 premieres, shaved his head, and worked in the Australian desert for two months. A few weeks ago, it was reported that Kristen Stewart desperately wanted Robert Pattinson to walk the red carpet with her at the 2013 Met Gala. A source was quoted as saying: "Kristen would love for Rob to attend the MET gala. She knows Rob isn't crazy about these types of events and having to dress up, but she has asked him." Aw. Sweet. But guess what? The event was last night, and no Robsten red carpet appearance as far as the naked eye could see. You know what that means, right?

So it looks like Robert Pattinson is 75 percent likely to be Kristen Stewart's date at the Met Ball. BUT WILL IT BE THEIR FAREWELL DATE?!? According to BlindGossip.com, Robert Pattinson signed a contract obligating him to make public appearances with Kristen as a couple. Yes, for Twilight publicity. Meanwhile, Rob's in New York, and has anyone noticed how close he is with Katy Perry? We've seen him and Kristen hang out with Katy together, most recently a Coachella.
