There is no doubt that Jennifer Lawrence has been taking the world by storm lately, especially because Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be premiering in theaters come November 22. So it makes sense that she's making the media rounds, proving to be more likable than ever before (if that's possible). As an Oscar winner, a young woman who's the star of a huge franchise, and a fallible human being who actually makes tripping up stage endearing, it's really difficult not to love her even more after she opened up about acting helping her overcome her social anxiety.
In an interview with French magazine Madame Figaro, the 23-year-old said, "My nickname was 'Nitro,' as in nitroglycerin ... I was hyperactive, curious about everything. When my mother told me about my childhood, she always told me there was like a light in me, a spark that inspired me constantly. When I entered school, the light went out. We never knew what it was, a kind of social anxiety. But I had friends."
