Now that the first teaser featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 was released, there's even more exciting news that just came out surrounding the film. Lionsgate has signed Lorde to curate the soundtrack album and write a song! After hearing Lorde's music, most likely, it's gonna be awesome. The soundtrack should be available this fall.

So not only will fans get to hear an original song, it's going to be very interesting to find out who Lorde taps to be a part of this upcoming album. Considering too she has picked some unconventional tourmates like Lo-Fang and Majical Cloudz, hopefully she can choose artists who not only fit the dark vibe of the film, but could use the much-needed boost of fame. No breathy pop stars on this album!

A third teaser, after the release of super-tiny teasers "Together As One" and "Unity," has been unleashed on humanity for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. The first two featured Donald Sutherland as President Snow giving propaganda speeches on behalf of "the Capitol." In the newest teaser trailer, "Our Leader the Mockingjay," which runs for about a minute, Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, duh, is the face of the rebellion, showing how grand the scope has grown since the first couple of films.

There's also a heartbreaking peek at Philip Seymour Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee, who does a lot of the narrating, Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell Cressida, and Julianne Moore as District 13's President Alma Coin. Hottie Liam Hemsworth also makes an appearance -- but there's no Josh Hutcherson. It's more than worth a look if you're at all a Hunger Games fan!

“Since the dark days, our great nation has known only peace. Ours is an elegant system, conceived to nourish and protect. Your districts are the body. The capital is the beating heart. Your hard work feeds us, and in return, we feed and protect you.” This is how President Snow smoothly addresses Panem in the first teaser clip for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1. But it's what Snow says next that manages to convey the dark mood Mockingjay readers will remember from the book.

The teaser is only one minute and thirteen seconds long, and it is hauntingly stark in its simplicity, with President Snow seated on a throne against an all-white background … next to Peeta Mellark. As much as this trailer doesn't show, it somehow sends chills down your spine anyway -- particularly at the 1:03 mark.

One of my personal favorite Philip Seymour Hoffman roles was also one of his last -- that of head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee in The Hunger Games trilogy. He played it perfectly, and I was very much looking forward to him reprising the role for the last two movies, so I was somewhat selfishly disconcerted about how the production company was going to handle the situation.

I needn’t have worried. It turns out that Hoffman had virtually completed his filming for Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, and only had seven days left of filming for Part 2.

Natalie Dormer is best known as playing Margaery Tyrell in HBO's Game of Thrones. On the show (and I'm sure in real life), she's beautiful, intelligent, kind, is known to rock some amazing low-cut dresses, and even has the evil King Joffrey wrapped around her little finger. So you can only imagine fans' (and other people's) shock when tuning in to the SAG Awards last Sunday. Half of Natalie's gorgeous, flowing locks were gone!

Those who had no idea what her upcoming role is certainly were perplexed. Apparently she had to shave her head to play Cressida for the next Hunger Games movie, Mockingjay. Hopefully it'll help folks who admire Natalie breathe a sigh of relief that she didn't go all Britney Spears on us.

BIG news, Hunger Games fans! Lionsgate has officially announced that actor Robert Knepper has been cast in Parts 1 and 2 The Hunger Games: Mockingjay as Antonius! I know, right? So exciting, since all this time everyone's been on pins and needles to hear who will play Antonius!

Antonius being the guy with the ... um, the guy in the story who ... huh. *licks finger, pages rapidly through trilogy* Hang on a second, there never WAS an Antonius in Mockingjay, or any of Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games novels for that matter.

So who the hell is this guy?

Because apparently we must politicize all the things, the the Hunger Games franchise has sparked a political debate between the right and left over what’s really going on in Panem.

It seems as though both liberals and conservatives want to claim the story as their own, each side arguing that their side is clearly represented. The lefties say that it’s a “call for the downtrodden to rise up against the rich,” while the right says it’s an “Orwellian take on the dangers of big government.”

So we can't all agree on everything, but we can all agree on one thing: Jennifer Lawrence is a badass. Right? Particularly compared to the average "starlet" type. This next question, however, is bound to get a variety of emphatically dissimilar answers: Is Jennifer Lawrence TOO MUCH of a badass to wear the "America's Sweetheart" crown? Julia Roberts, whose reign as our nation's Dream Girl Next Door went pretty much uncontested for years, seems to think so. This is what the 46-year-old actress had to say when she was asked, recently, for her opinion on whether or not Lawrence is qualified to take over the title:

Did you see Hunger Games: Catching Fire yet? Did you did you did you? I managed to get to an early showing yesterday and even though the IMAX pricing was a whopping $14.50 (during matinee hours!) I really enjoyed it. Definitely worth the entire babysitter-plus-tickets-and-peanut-M&Ms cost, although I really need to remember to sneak in my own water because FIVE DOLLARS FOR A DASANI COME ON.

Anyway, if you've seen it and thus have no concerns about spoilers, let's talk about the many high points of Catching Fire … along with a few of the less-awesome aspects.
