Remember when the main reason celebrities (or anyone) got plastic surgery was to make themselves look younger? Those ubiquitous nip/tuck rumors never started swirling until an actress hit at least 40. Not so much anymore! In fact, it seems like the reverse is now true: Young -- like, really young -- actresses and "personalities" are getting major work done ... and it's making them look older!! D'oh!

I'm guessing none of these formerly fresh-faced ladies meant to add a decade on to their ages when they went under the knife, but sadly, that's exactly what happened. Here are five of Hollywood's worst young-to-old celeb plastic surgery makeovers.

Audrina Patridge, one of the last of The Hills ladies to be sticking around on reality TV, has declared that her VH1 show, Audrina, won't be back for a second season. Apparently, it's not because her show totally tanked. (I mean, let;'s be real, did anyone really watch it? I never heard any water cooler talk about the show, sorry.) But she's done, because, "We finished in April and I kind of decided I wanted to take some time off from reality. I want to do something more like acting or hosting.”

Ah-ha! Of cooooooourse that's what she wants to do. That's what all the Laguna Beach/Hills alumnas seem to have aspired to do, and none of them to much success. (Heidi Montag to the LEAST success, as we ALL know too well.) But you know, maybe that was, at least in part, no fault of theirs. Maybe it had everything to do with timing! And Audrina's could be perfect.

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually feel sorry for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. The villains of The Hills turned into fame whores so fast that my head spun. One second Heidi is LC's BFF bouncing around parties in L.A., the next she's married to a puppeteer who encouraged her to have 10 plastic surgeries at the ripe age of 23. They were so unlikeable and, to me, not the least bit sympathetic. Until now.

Speidi sat down with The Daily Beast and talked about their new reality as a couple without the cameras, without the attention, and without the accompanying paycheck. I'm shocked at the remorse and regret they revealed.

I ... I ... I feel bad for them.

Famous Food premiered tonight on VH1, and while all the ingredients for a feast of reality show goodness were there, it felt more like a serving of some lukewarm, second-day leftovers. The cast alone sounds like a recipe for some serious drama -- Heidi Montag, Danielle Staub, Jake Pavelka, and more -- but together, they might be too much ... and not enough to make the show work. Besides, most of them are well past what should be their expiration dates when it comes to their relevance, and this show did nothing to trump that.

The premise for the show means the contestants actually have to work -- they're competing for partnership in a restaurant run by the Dolce Group. They have 28 days to do everything from coming up with the concept to hiring staff, selecting uniforms, and getting the food ready to go. No small task for even the most talented folks, and these folks, well ... no one ever said reality television stars had to be talented.

Celebrities by their very nature are gawk-worthy, but there are some whose actions are just so bizarre and awful that we can't take our eyes off of them as much as we know we should. They're the ones whose very names elicit eye rolls and cause jokes to spring from tongue tips.

It seems time and time again they one up their own bad behavior and just can't seem to get on the right track. But no matter how bad they get, we also can't look away -- it's just too enticing not to see the damage.

Yesterday, Spencer Pratt's rap debut made me want to rip my hair out. And today, Heidi Montag is riding his musical coattails with the release of her new single, "Heartbeat." I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the back-to-back music releases are no coincidence. It's a shocker really -- who knew the duo was so musical?

"Heartbeat" is actually Montag's second songstress attempt. Her first was with last year's debut album, Superficial, which was an utter flop -- it sold only an embarrassing 658 copies in its first week. So this new track must be BOMB if she's coming back for more after such an epic failure, right?

When I think about today's greatest rappers, I generally think of big names. You know -- Jay Z, Eminem, Kanye, and even Lil' Wayne. Well watch out boys, there's a new head honcho in town, and this rapper goes by the name of Spencer Pratt. 

Yeah, you read that right. The reality TV star hit the studio in L.A. last year to record his hip-hop debut "Ain't No Thing" -- and lucky for us (wahooooo!), it's finally making its way around the Internet.

In a move worthy of Lindsay Lohan and her mother, Heidi Montag’s mom has dispensed with any sort of familial respect and released an open letter to her daughter. 

What the hell was going through her mind? Is she just as crazy as Heidi?

She’s got to be. She’s taken it to a whole new level though.

Normally I wouldn't side with anything Heidi, Speidi, Spencer, Montag, Pratt related, but I feel for Heidi this time, I really do.

This whole thing started with Heidi’s refusal to speak to her mom following that famous Hills episode where Darlene criticized all the plastic surgeries Heidi had.
