I wish beyond wishes that I could've been a fly on the wall of this meeting -- Kristen Stewart told MTV News that she, Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, and Harry Potter star Emma Watson recently hung out together. All of them. Bella, Katniss, Hermione. Boom, boom, boom. Franchise, franchise, franchise. KStew didn't explain under what context they were shooting the shit, but I can only hope it was over bourbon in some secret society clubhouse in West Hollywood where Linda Carter's the bartender and Carrie-Anne Moss sulks in the corner.

Lest you think this means they're all three BFFs, lemme tell you that Kristen had to go and ruin our girl-power fantasy with a dig about Jennifer Lawrence's age.

Among all the young ingenues rumored to be under consideration to play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, Emma Watson really stands out. Sure, Lucy Hale and Alexis Bledel are already queens of the small screen, but Emma's proven herself at the box office time and again -- and would definitely be able to lend the film major credibility. But whether or not she really has any interest in portraying Ana has been up in the air ... until now.

She recently spoke about the opportunity and said all she really knows about the trilogy, not having read it yet, is that it's "quite raunchy." But that doesn't mean she isn't writing off the potential role altogether ...

Have y'all heard? J.K. Rowling, the woman who took the literary (and then cinematic) world by storm with the Harry Potter series, is coming out with a brand-spanking new book ... for adults. The Casual Vacancy is being hyped to lure people in with sex, super-graphic language, and rock 'n' roll. Just feels so wrong.

The 512-page book will be Rowling's first ever since she released the last Harry Potter five years ago. The plot is set in the small fictional British village of Pagford. An unexpected death of a town official leaves a vacancy in the town's government, and that sets up some issues with a neighboring town called Fields. There are politics and class warfare involved as well as a look into the personal lives of many of the characters. Sounds about as far from Harry Potter as you can get! And the early reviews for the novel are in. You know you wanna see 'em.

Last week we reported that Fifty Shades of Grey movie producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti may have their sights set on Emma Watson, of Harry Potter fame, to play Anastasia Steele. This week, Emma herself is setting the record straight. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, she revealed she has read "nothing" related to the project -- not even the book itself.

She went on to sound both amused and annoyed by the rumors, noting that she's even had to clarify the truth for friends and family: "I told them just because there are 60 articles on the Internet doesn’t mean it's any less true than if there are three or four." Sadly, she's right. But let's not write her off for the role just yet.

During the second season of Game of Thrones, it was rare for a week to go by when you didn't see an actress or two stripping down. We've seen nearly everyone's boobs, from Cersei's to Daenerys's to numerous hookers', and sometimes we've seen even more than that. With season 3 reportedly coming out in February 2013, based off A Storm of Swords, fans just take (and some really enjoy) the female nudity as part of the series. But there's something we haven't seen that may put us over the edge: some penis.

The actresses who've had to strip down for the show agree there's quite the disparity ... well, at least one of them does. Natalia Tena, who plays a Wilding named Osha (you may also recognize her as Tonks from the Harry Potter series), explained in rather colorful language what she hopes to see in season 3, and why she was slightly disappointed by her full-frontal scene back in season 2. Talk about an important discussion! Some spoilers ahead.

The long-awaited announcement has finally arrived: J.K. Rowling is coming out with a brand new book. After a five-year break from publishing, she's signed a deal with publishing house Little, Brown for the mysterious upcoming project.Rowling's remaining frustratingly tight-lipped about the details of her new novel—there's no title, plot synopsis, or publication date yet—but one thing's clear: it's not going to be anything like the Harry Potter series

On the surface, the similarities are there: Both originally young adult novels, both now films with a young, sexy cast, both stories revolve around a potentially ill-fated love triangle. But beyond that, The Hunger Games -- which we have to wait until March 23, 2012 to see (boo!!) -- is not and never will be Twilight. I'm with Jennifer Lawrence on this one.

The actress cast to play the HG lead, Katniss Everdeen, recently spoke up to Vanity Fair about the comparison on everyone's lips. It sounds like she was being modest, explaining, "I try not to think too much about it. Hunger Games is not Twilight ... It's really premature to say it will be the same phenomenon." Well, as good an actress as I'm sure she is, she can't fool us. She knows how huge the futuristic franchise is going to be; she's just playing nice. The fact of the matter is that Hunger Games definitely WON'T mimic the success of  Twilight. No, it's going to be even bigger.

Harry Potter fans are a rare breed. At last night's midnight showings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, they came in waves, and in costume. Only comparable to 5 a.m. Black Friday crowds, hundreds poured into my local movie theater with one thing in common: Sheer HP anticipation. There I stood, hanging with dozens of Harrys, amongst tons of old graduation gowns wizards capes and magic wands, next to Mr. Mad Eye Moody himself, with utter disbelief on my face.

Sure, there were several Ron and Hermione wannabes. However, the most overwhelming crowd accessory, aside from the highly desired ticket, was Gryffindor crimson and gold, worn to commemorate the end of an era. And let me tell you something -- HP fans know how to have a good time. Especially the ones with wigs and tattoos!
