Big Brother 12 houseguestsLeading up to the finale, Big Brother 12 showed us the season's highlights. We all could have done without the weird, fake, scripted play-by-play courtesy of the Three Stooges, but we don't always get what we want.

The trip down memory lane was great, and in the spirit of the VMAs (which also aired last night), I think we should give out some awards.

We don't have $500,000 for the winners, but if the winning houseguests want to accept a yummy homemade meal as their prize, just let me know.

    On to the winners:

Big Brother 12's winner? The Big Brother 12 house is a bit of a snore leading up to the finale.

I suppose this isn't exactly anything new. There's only so much excitement when you have three exhausted and focused people ... or when they're not the brightest in the bunch.

It's okay though, because we had the jury house to keep us entertained!

Big Brother 12's Hayden & Enzo, final two?For a somewhat boring season, Big Brother 12 has sure had its high points, and the latest episode was one of them.

It started with the most important POV competition of the season. With Lane and Britney on the block, one of them had to win it to secure their spots in the final three and send Enzo home. They needed to match clues with the houseguest, but Enzo and Lane have been paying zero attention in this game, so it came down to Britney and Hayden. Too bad for Britney that Hayden zoomed through and won POV.

With nominations staying the same and Britney definitely being evicted, The Brigade decided to drop a bomb on her ... or should I say throw a grenade?

For the first time in the game, The Brigade came clean about their alliance.

Big Brother 12's Britney, last woman standing Big Brother 12 was a bit predictable, so good thing there was a luxury competition to liven it up.

Things picked right up with the HOH competition. Hayden was in the lead the entire time, with Britney far behind at the start but catching up near the end. Sadly, it was too late for Britney and Hayden won HOH.

Enzo acts as if he won, talking about how great The Brigade is. (I wonder if that's his coping mechanism for never winning.) I guess I have to give it up to him for coming up with the idea. It's impressive that three of them are in the final four -- they've managed to dominate when it counts most.

If I didn't want him gone, I'd be much happier.

Big Brother 12's Matt comes clean If football made you miss Big Brother 12, I'm here to fill you in. There weren't too many surprises, but it was still a bit of a nail-biter.

Before even getting to the house, I have to say my favorite part of this episode was the jury house footage. Rachel's shocked to see Kathy, who tells her about Matt's Diamond Power of Veto. When it gets to the next week, Matt steps into a house of people he was instrumental in getting out. Awwkwaaard.

Matt shows them the competition footage and they're lounging when Brendon walks in. Rachel sits there dumbfounded and admits she didn't want to see him there because she wanted him to win. Boohoo and all of that, but now comes the good part!

Matt decides this is the best time to admit he's been lying -- his wife doesn't have a disease.

Big Brother 12's Britney makes final four The latest Big Brother 12 had pushing, throwing, crying, dancing ... entertainment all around.

It started with a brutal POV competition. Otev the Broadway Hamburger Clam wanted them to find CDs combining the names of two evicted houseguests.

It came down to Ragan and Enzo, who slammed into each other on their way to the last CD. Enzo won POV, and Ragan threw a CD at Otev, hitting Enzo in the process. (Well, kinda.)

Enzo talks trash about Ragan being a sore loser, saying it came down to who wanted it more. Ragan may have been a sore loser, but it sounds funny coming from somebody who's moped and groaned about not winning HOH ... or any other competition. Besides, I'm pretty sure Enzo being twice Ragan's size had something to do with his win.

At least we got to hear Enzo say:

Papa got the bling bling. [...] Now the Meow Meow starts to play.

Big Brother 12's Lane, first of the final four What Enzo's still doing in the Big Brother 12 house, I have no idea, but at least he recognizes how embarassing it is that he hasn't won anything. Lucky for him, the other Brigade members can hold their own.

After a blackjack-like card game, Lane wins HOH. This means he's guaranteed a spot in the final four, but it also means he needs to pick a pawn to go up next to their target, Ragan. Enzo is worried he'll be the pawn, so he talks to Hayden about Lane being too close to Britney. They decide they need to bring him back into The Brigade and put Britney up.I hate to admit it, but there is one thing Enzo has done well in this game: moving The Brigade forward.

Ragan, Big Brother 12's future winner? Big Brother 12's Double Eviction night was one to remember, so let's jump right in.

Ragan figured out that the tough guys were in a four-way alliance, partly thanks to Enzo's big mouth. Matt tried to use this as leverage to stay in the game, but the damage was done and Matt was unanimously evicted.

In his interview with Julie, he admitted that he shouldn't have thrown the previous HOH competition, but he thought he was safe. I called it last week: bad move!

But that was only the beginning of the night ...

Big Brother 12's diabolical supergenius MattThat Big Brother 12 episode was action-packed!

Let's start with Britney. She was impressing me -- winning competitions, not letting herself become a target -- but it went out the window this week. Now, Britney's just Lane's pawn. Every time Lane suggests something to her, her instincts tell her he's wrong. Yet, somehow, she ends up doing what he wants anyway.

Matt's game also suffered. The Brigade was ready to get rid of him last week, but he still trusts them. Then he throws Ragan under the bus, giving everybody an excuse to evict him because he's disloyal.

Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself, let's back up.

Big Brother 12's Enzo is a sitting duckThe Big Brother 12 house is still reeling from Matt's Diamond POV when we start week 7. But Britney's HOH now, so everybody's squirming -- and I love seeing the houseguests squirm.

Enzo, the Meow Meow himself, is especially in a tough spot.

Enzo and Hayden stupidly admitted to Matt that they were voting him out over Lane. Why they didn't say one would vote for him and the other would vote for Lane, I have no idea. But they didn't, and now they're in hot water.

Enzo makes it worse by confronting Matt to make sure he'd vote for his Brigade buddy over Ragan. Did anybody else yell at Enzo to take it easy at this moment? Awful move.
