Don't get me wrong -- I pretty much think Angelina Jolie is like, the most talented gift-giver ever born. Merry Christmas Brad, I bought you a waterfall! Well done, girlfriend. And I'm sure Brad Pitt is beyond thrilled with every token of Angie's affection, including the latest: A $1.6 million helicopter (and flying lessons, of course!). Um, happy birthday ... ? Nope, it's not Brad's bday. According to a source, Angie just “thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present."

Well, sure.

Anyway, like I said, I think Angelina's instincts are spot-on. But I started thinking about what her next big-ticket gift to Brad might be ... and I started wondering about what shopping for a present is like when you've got a $1.6 million budget. I mean, it's not like you're marking pages in a catalogue with sticky notes, y'know?

What does $1.6 million get you nowadays, exactly?

Now that they've finally taken a leap of faith and gotten engaged, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie are bound to have plenty of tabloids trying to pick apart every part of their relationship in the hopes of finding some sort of crack that will ultimately destroy them. And even though the "Brad's still pining for Jennifer Aniston" angle is pretty washed up, Star now claims that Brad hid love letters he wrote to another woman, and Angie's all bent out of shape after finding them. (OMG. Can you imagine how irate she must be if this is true?)

Odds are good that this story is nothing but a very far-fetched rumor, but on the off chance that Brad did really hang onto to letters he'd written to an old flame, I can't help but wonder why he would be so stupid as to keep them. As a matter of fact, I really don't see a need for anyone to keep pieces of paper that remind them of a former love. Who needs something like that weighing them down?

From the realm of Not Very Likely comes news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are supposedly busy planning their top secret "I do"s, will have a bare bones wedding. A well-known Hollywood wedding planner (who has not been asked to do their wedding -- of course) says that Brad and Ange won’t want “tons of flowers,” or anything “ostentatious.” Oh, give me a freckin break already! You know they’re going to have a big bash. They’ve got six kids who have been clamoring for a wedding for ages. What do you think the wedding will be like? Held in a sand pit somewhere in Ethiopia with no food, no flowers, no gifts?

Angelina Jolie may have succeeded in stealing Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston, but there are some of Jen's "assets" that she definitely can't compete with -- like her gorgeous body, for example. Don't get me wrong, Angie's thin and beautiful and exotic looking, but Jen's got the whole lean, mean, toned, and tight thing going on, which is a look that plenty of women spend hours in the gym striving for.

And remember how Angie's right leg completely took over the Oscars this year and even got its own Twitter account in the process? Yeah -- Jen nailed that very same leg move long before she did. Celebuzz dug up this great photo of Jen at the 2010 Golden Globes wearing a long, black dress with a slit right up to her hip. Look familiar? It should -- because Angie totally ripped off the same look for the Oscars, whether it was intentional or not.

Oh, for the love of Pete! When is Jon Voight going to learn that talking to the media about his daughter, Angelina Jolie, really isn't a great idea? For whatever reason, he just can't resist giving a jolly answer every time he's asked about her by the press -- and one of these days he's bound to piss her off. Again.

Things are all hunky dory between father and daughter these days, but up until fairly recently, Jon and Angelina weren't exactly on speaking terms. Remember when he outed her after she adopted her first son, Maddox, from Cambodia? She was trying to keep the fact that she'd become a mother private, but her dear old dad couldn't keep his mouth shut and told the world that he was indeed a grandfather. And Angie wasn't too happy about it.

Y'know, the thing of it is, I'm a big Chelsea Handler fan. But I'm a huge Angelina Jolie fan, and no matter how much hate mail I get from Team Jen (I'd rather not "die in a fire," thank you very much), I'm going to keep on pointing out Miss Jolie's many virtues. Case in point: Guess how Angie spent her weekend? Not shopping. Not lying by the pool. Nope.

Angelina Jolie spent the weekend visiting Ecuador as special envoy for the U.N. refugee agency (her first trip to Ecuador since her special envoy appointment, but her third trip to "assess the situation" of the thousands upon thousands of refugees fleeing violence in Colombia).

Hmm, suddenly Handler's comment about Jolie being the "opposite of a girl's girl" seems pretty ... meaningless.

What's this -- Angelina Jolie riding a BUS?!? With Brad and all six kids? How could this be? Weren't they mobbed by photographers, not to mention excited fans? Where are they going? How long was their trip? Were they in New York or LA?

This is so exciting! Angelina really is just like me -- we both ride the bus. Maybe we could, like, ride the bus together someday! We could be bus-buddies. Wow, who knew the Jolie-Pitt crew were so supportive of public transportation? This totally makes my day.

It's, like, totally normal to want the cool expensive things that celebs wear, right? From Bella's wedding dress in Twilight to Kate Middleton's engagement ring, making look-alikes is so totally in these days. I guess it was only a matter of time until Angelina Jolie's million-dollar engagement ring was up for grabs. Yup, do you fancy Angie's new shiny piece of finger glam?
