NBC's Parenthood: Did You Watch?

The Stir Bloggers

When I saw the previews for NBC's new show Parenthood, I thought, "Oh this looks like a cute show," somewhat NBC's version of Modern Family perhaps.

Expecting funny family dynamics, I was a bit caught off-guard when it went much deeper than that, addressing serious issues.

Rebellious teens, a son who may or may not have Asperger's, drugs, and a surprise love child are just some of the storylines of this show, based off of Ron Howard's 1989 film and is also the second attempt at the TV spinoff.

It was a lot to take in during one episode...and I'm concerned that they used up all their ammo to hook people with the pilot. But if not, I'll be adding this to my DVR list.

Parenthood runs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.

Did you see the show? If so, what did you think of it?
