So sad...Andrew Koenig, who played Kirk Cameron's friend "Boner" on the 1980s sitcom Growing Pains, has been missing since February 14th and was found dead yesterday in Vancouver, B.C. Reports say he took his own life.
He was only 41 years old.
He had been clinically depressed for quite some time and had stopped taking anti-depressants. This just breaks my heart...I hate that he felt so alone that, in his mind, he had no other way out.

Have you ever known anyone to be clinically depressed?

This is so sad. It looks like he was planning this for awhile he cleaned out his own apt and all. Think he did it so his family wouldn't have to. He loved Canada from what his dad said.
He was cute.
So very sad. I watched him when he was on Growing Pains -- we are almost the same age. My heart goes out to his family.
That is so sad.....I have known of someone with clinical depression. My cousin. He tried to take his own life unsuccessfully. He's doing much better now.
It breaks your heart and my heart goes out especially to the family.
