Things definitely aren't looking pretty for ABC's Ugly Betty.
The network announced that they will be canceling the show, which is currently in it's fourth year, after it completes this season.
"We've mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion," executive producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Stephen McPherson told UsMagazine.com in a joint statement Wednesday.

I liked Ugly Betty and watched it all the time; then they had that writers strike and when some of the shows came back, it didn't right away.....then they moved it to another night and I always forgot to watch it and it ruined it for me. I tried to pick it back up once I knew it was on Friday nights but I just couldn't get back into it.
just like PEAJEWEL said.. when it got interrupted and i am SURE different episode writers, it was different , but i watched, THEN they changed nights and i cant ever find it anymore! i hate when they move shows to different nights for CRAPPY replacements, i mean seriously- Private Practice?? hate it...
I love this show. It sucks that they are cancelling it!
i loved Ugly Betty is was a great show it was funny but yet real at the same time that was the only thing i watched on TV that i didn't let the kids bother me and it was there father that had to watch the kids i'm just in shock always the good show get cancelled and that sucks
I tried watching Ugly Betty a few times but it was never able to hold my attention for long
