Growing up, we'd always watch the Dick Clark's broadcast of the ball dropping on New Year's Eve.
Living in NYC, I'm always asked if I do Times Square for New Year's Eve. Answer: heck no! I am not strong enough to stand outside in the cold for that long.
Those that do it, more power to them, but just walking to the subway in the morning is enough to make me want to hibernate for the rest of the winter, much less stand outside in a crowd for hours and hours.
So, again this year, I will watch from the warmth of the indoors as Ryan Seacrest counts down those final seconds and the world welcomes in 2010.
