The holidays are all about tradition. Ones that are passed down from generation to generation and also new ones that you create with your family.
One of the traditions that I always loved as a kid was every Christmas Eve night, our family would read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas poem.
It always made us kids even that much more excited for Santa.
It seems like other families have similar story- or book-related traditions. A mom posted in Answers how every Christmas they read the Christmas story and other poems and short stories from a Christmas-themed book.
Freela: One Christmas tradition that we began was giving our kids a "Christmas Eve gift" every year. It's always a new set of pjs, plus a book to read for each at bedtime.
Does your family read a specific book or story during the holiday season? What are some of your family traditions?

On Christmas give when Jeff was little he was tucked in bed with the reading by his dad of The Night Before Christmas. Also earlyer in the night I read him a book on the true meaning of Christmas before we sinig Happy BD to Jesus.
Now that Jeff is grown we read the story out of Luke before we open gifts
