Last Friday, a teary-eyed Oprah announced her decision of ending The Oprah Winfrey Show after the end of the 25th season.

"I love this show, this show has been my life, and I love it enough to know when it's time to say goodbye. Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit. It's the perfect number. The exact right time," she announced to her viewers.

That being said, the show will end in September 2011.

She plans to put her focus into her cable network OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), which will be launching in January 2011.

Whether you like Oprah or not, you can't deny that her show made quite an impact on daytime TV.
