I grew up right outside of Nashville, so you better believe I love me some country music!
Last night, Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley hosted the CMAs in Music City for the second year in a row.
Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night, taking all four categories that she was nominated in, including Entertainer of the Year Award.
This year also proved that things are changing in country music, and new faces are beginning to rise. Rascal Flatts gave up their six-year winning streak of Vocal Group of the Year to Lady Antebellum and Sugarland seems to be taking the prestigious Duo of the Year title from Brooks & Dunn (Sugarland's won the last three years. Before that, Brooks & Dunn had won 14 of the past 15 years, wow!).
Click here for the full list of winners.
The performances included a lot of unexpected groupings. Vince Gill performed with Daughtry, Kenny Chesney sang with Dave Mathews, and Brooks & Dunn performed their final CMA performance with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top.
Did you watch the CMAs? What was your favorite performance?

Way to go Taylor Swift! I actually thought many of the other artists like Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks, etc. would have won too.--by CafeMochaMom1
sorry, but i don't think she can sing. i understand that most mom's would want their kids to listen to her, but she just plain sucks. there were better people/groups that should've won.
I watched and I loved it. I wasnt shocked at all that Taylor dominated but I thought her 1st perfomance was bad. She was pitchy and it was just hard to listen to....I was a little shocked! But I thought that Carrie and Brad did an awesome job hosting. My fav perfomances were Darius Rucker and Vince Gill w/ Daughtry...I love me some Chris Daughtry!!!
