I'm sure most have heard of the David Letterman fiasco of him being blackmailed for $2 million in sex extortion attempt. We've heard his side in that ten-minute monologue last Thursday night fessing up to the interoffice sex scandal.
One woman has been exposed, former assistant Stephanie Birkitt, and others are coming forward. There were reports from back in 2004 hinting at Letterman's and Birkitt's closeness.
"He puts me very much at ease," she told the Fort Worth Star Telegram in 2004. "He's very laid back about the whole thing. It's kind of just like hanging out onstage with your buddy."
Before now, there have been no employee complaints against Letterman concerning this issue.
Letterman married longtime girlfriend Regina Lasko back in March and they have a 5-year-old son together.
Though blackmailing is wrong, part of me is glad that Letterman's cheating self was exposed, so I'm somewhat torn in who's right here.
What do you think? Are you glad Letterman was forced to fess up?
I create a special savings account
I put a little away at a time
I cut corners until I can afford it
Save? Who has money to save?
I plan to put it on my credit card and love the benefits of the reward program
