President Obama's Televised Back-to-School Speech for America's Students

Sheri Reed

Today President Obama will make a speech before the student body at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia, which will also be broadcast to American students across the nation.

His message: take responsibility for your education.

The President's message will be streamed live at 12:00 pm (EDT) on and broadcast live on C-Span.

I've read the President's prepared remarks already. Particularly lovely:

"Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide."

I'm excited about the message he's delivering today. Are you?

Once you've watched (or read) the President's message for students today, tell us what you think. And did you/will you have your kids watch? Why or why not?
