DJ AM Found Dead: Police Suspect Overdose

Adam Goldstein, also known as DJ AM, was found dead in his New York City apartment yesterday. According to Access Hollywood, drug paraphernalia including a crack pipe was found at the scene.

Goldstein, 36,survived a plane crash last year, in which he and his music collaborator Travis Barker suffered second- and third-degree burns. Goldstein later filed a $20 million lawsuit against the plane's manufacturers.

Last week, Goldstein threw out the first pitch at the New York Mets game in New York.

On Thursday, he wrote on his Twitter page, "New York, New York. Big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain't always what it seems."
