Talented writer-director John Hughes, who directed some of my favorite movies of all-time like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, passed away yesterday. He was 59 years old.
He died from a heart attack during a morning walk in Manhattan.
Though he had remained low-key for the past decade, focusing on family, his films dominated the box office in the 1980s.
My heart goes out to his family.
What's your favorite John Hughes movie?
