Have you been watching I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here? I have been—in the same way most people watch a train wreck in progress—with sheer horror.
Not watching? Well, you don't know what you're missing. You can watch Lou Diamond Phillips and Patti Blagojevich battle to eat dried up tarantulas, see Stephen Baldwin baptize Spencer Pratt (that's right, I said baptize) in a Costa Rican river, and watch Pratt and wife Heidi Montag whine and throw tantrums and leave and come back and, uh, leave again...after being "tortured"...
According to TMZ, over the weekend, Heidi Montag Pratt was rushed to a local hospital for "convulsively throwing up" and later "diagnosed with a gastric ulcer." Apparently, Montag got sick after she and Spencer were put into seclusion on the show for almost three days with minimal food, drink, and no light. TMZ also reported that Montag has left the hospital with medication for her illness.
Family is claiming NBC took it too far for the couple. NBC says the allegations are hugely exaggerated. The two do love good celebrity-boosting tricks. And now, Spencer wants to sue NBC for torturing the couple.
I guess, either way, we have to watch to find out, right?
What do you think? Is Heidi's hospitalization and Spencer's threat against NBC a ploy to boost Speidi's ratings and their celebrity status?
