She's Got the Look Premiere: I Want to Model!

She's got the lookThe following is a sponsored post for TV Land.

When the show She's Got the Look premiered last year, I was so excited. It's like America's Next Top Model, but for women over 35. Finally, a show I can enter! OK, I didn't enter, but a girl can dream, right?

I can't enter now either...unless they are looking for pregnant women who have lots of tattoos. (They must need models that fit that bill, right?) Still, I love the show and the new season is starting this week. And I got to have a sneak peek at the first episode...and so can you!

Host, supermodel, and mom of five, Kim Alexis (gorgeous) along with supermodel mom Beverly Johnson (flawless), style guru Robert Verdi (adorable), and Wilhelmina model management president Sean Patterson (powerful) guide the women through the process and decide on who has "the look" each episode.

The ladies live in a house and compete each week. The winner gets a contract with Wilhelmina, a photoshoot and layout in Self magazine, and $100,000 cash. Exciting!

The contestants vying for the spots on the show were all beautiful in different ways. There was a beauty who was in the military, a transgender, a 47-year-old mom of twins with an incredible body (I'm having twins, so she made me realize I can get my figure back), 60-year-old Ernestine who is somewhat of a contortionist, breathtaking 72-year-old Dolores (I want her beauty secrets), and many others.

The women walked the runway and were judged on how well they could give the judges "sexy." Some went overboard with glitter, others went more natural -- and it was the natural beauties who stood out in a good way. I already have my favorites. And like all good reality shows, She's Got the Look even made me cry. OK, I'm hormonal, but I won't spoil it for you...there was an emotional moment.

She's Got the Look premieres on TV Land Thursday, June 11th at 9pm EST.

Did you ever have a dream of being a model?
