Baby Phat designer, Kimora Lee Simmons, gave birth to a baby boy over the weekend.
The new addition is the first with boyfriend Djimon Hounsou and will join Ming, 9, and Aoki, 6, Kimora's two daughters from her previous marriage to Russell Simmons.
Not wanting to leave fans hanging, she tweeted throughout her delivery: "It's time!! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!! Love & Light, KLS." and "Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It's like WHOA! Love & Light, KLS."
LOL! The last thing on my mind during labor would be updating my Twitter account, but it's definitely a good way to keep friends and family in the loop!
Did you update loved ones throughout your delivery or did you just tell everyone once the baby was born?

my mom called through out my delivery...she lives in another state so she was allowed to call but i ended up having a csection.
we called my parents and in-laws when we were in the hospital and checked in so they knew we were there and it would happen soon. but after that we just called once my kids were born. i remember with my 2nd talking to mom and trying to tell her to hold on b/c i was having contractions and she just kept talking over me, lol.
We didn't even really tell anyone (except our employees!) that we were going in. We just called after he was born.
