Dang, talk about harsh. Candy Spelling, wife of the late Aaron Spelling, claimed in a radio interview that their daughter, actress and reality TV star Tori Spelling, was the reason for her husband's death.
Candy said Tori abandoned Aaron and "that's what killed my husband actually. He just didn't want to live after that. You know, he had done everything he could possibly do for his daughter and she wanted no part of him once he couldn't do anything for her."
Moms are discussing it in The CafeMom Hollywood group. Here's what they have to say:
mama2madi.n.max: That is horrible that any mother could accuse their child of "killing" a father like that. Poor Tori, if my mom said something like that about me I would probably end up blaming myself.
Landonsmama0615: It is ridiculous and just shows that Candy really has no class and is grasping at straws to maintain in the spotlight. She rode Aaron's coattails til she couldn't anymore and now she has to take shots at her daughter to be in the headlines.
jabs54: Wow, she's going to get a lot of negative feedback with a stupid statement like that!
I think it's an awful thing to say about your daughter and I really hope Tori doesn't take it to heart! What do you think? Do you think Candy crossed the line with that statement?
