American Idol & Dancing with the Stars: Final Episodes!

Did you see American Idol and Dancing with the Stars last night? If you didn't there are some spoilers ahead, so you may want to come back after you watch.

If you saw it, let's talk!

First up: American Idol

Wow. I loved Kris Allen's rendition of Ain't No Sunshine -- it gave me chills. Adam Lambert was fantastic with his version of A Change is Gonna Come. And I have to admit that I didn't like the song co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi (No Boundaries) that they both sang. I do think it was more suited for Kris, but the song had too many words and I didn't love the arrangement. Don't I sound like one of the judges? LOL

I have always thought Adam was going to win, but something changed last night and I think Kris is going to win. What do you think? Both are very deserving! And second place, even third, fourth, fifth, also gets a lot of doors opened for them.

Now onto the finale of Dancing with the Stars

Shawn Johnson! Oh how adorable she is! I loved all three finalists, but so excited that Shawn and partner Mark Ballas won.

And how cool was it that Lady Gaga performed Just Dance on the show!

SOOO happy that Shawn won. I knew that it didn't matter between her and Gilles..I liked them both and also thought Melissa was a great dancer. I would have been happy either way, but am soo happy cz i love Shawn!

GILLES WAS ROBBED!! He was the most consistet all season and deserved to win more.

I think Adam was better last night (although I agree that I don't like Kara's song) but I think there is a chance Kris could win. In my opinion, it would be the worst AI finale ever if Adam doesn't win

Apparently Shawn had a bigger fan base.. MORE VOTES is what determines the winner.....

adam was the fav but kris had soul and talent he took any song to suit is own soulful style adam was loud but a good singer and Kara's song needed to be cut a verse and tues night they meaning the band had geared it for adam's range and made it too high for kris but kris pulled it out. i am glad that true talent and not a popularity contest went on here normally the one with the highest votes is the real cute one the teen fav and not the best singer

Idol definately didn't go the way I thought it would. But they're both great. I just leaned toward Adam as a personal preference. He was really cute (when he wasn't wearing the guy-liner!)

As an 80's teen I listened to Kiss, Kix, Banshee, Faster Pussycat, Poison, Dokken, Aldo Nova, Aerosmith, basically if it was loud and in your face I listened to it...but as I got older, wiser, and a little less angry at the world I started to listen to the music I grew up with. 70's Rock! The only thing that compares to that today is today's country. So when I heard Kris out sing Kieth Urban last night I knew that kid could win! I have great respect for Adam's talent because it is truly rare...but not as marketable as Kris'! Kris is far more acceptable, to the masses, than Adam is in all aspects. (appearance, vocals, humility, sexual orientation, and not to mention that he probably got all of Danny's votes when he left) It really wasn't that surprising when Kris won...not when you weigh out what each contestant had going for them. But how fun was it to see Adam get up there with Kiss!?! No matter who won...it was a GREAT show!

I knew that Kris would win and he did Adam did not move me in his preformance as Kris did Congrats to our new American Idol Kris Allen!!! America Got it right and Kris is so Deserving!!!

Adam has been the presumptive winner, almost since day one. The judges love him, he has a strong fanbase, and he attracts buzz (as is evidenced recent Entertainment Weekly cover). Kris, however, is notable for the fact that he has surprised everyone. Week after week. While Adam started out with a flash, Kris ends with a bang !!and wins it all. whooohooo!!!
