I remember when I was very young, after watching magician David Copperfield's show on TV, I wrote him a letter begging him to teach me how he magically flew (it was my childhood ambition to learn). I never got a response.
If I was a celebrity, I would try my hardest to take the time to answer letters, especially from children (or at least hire someone to do so).
This exact discussion is going on in The Newcomers Club. Stars like Roger Stauback (Dallas Cowboys quarterback), Lucille Ball, David Hasselhoff, and Drew Carey all "responded" with an autographed picture.
I don't care if the actual star didn't really have anything to do with it, thinking a celebrity wrote you back is the coolest thing for a kid!
Did you ever write to a celebrity?
