My current favorite family movie is "Penelope" starring Christina Ricci, James McAvoy and Reese Witherspoon. My daughter is only 4 and we are trying to instill on her certain morals and values and "Penelope" shares a great message in a fun, fairytale setting. The story is about a girl who was born with the face of a pig and can only be freed when a wealthy, "blue blood" promises to love her until "death do they part". It is definitely worth adding to your Netflix queue.
I was thinking of a whole group of past movies - but honestly, the best movie my daughter and i have seen in a long time has been the new Hannah Montana Movie. My family consists of my 10 year old daughter and I. We are adjusting to a divorce situation and we needed to see a positive story about single parents - Hannah Montanta was IT! Billy Ray Cyrus plays a single father and his mother in the movie is a single mother!
The combination of story, music, dance and life lessons were wonderful!
My favorite family movie is the classic version of "Yours, Mine, and Ours" with Lucille Ball. My kids love this movie and we watch it about twice a month.
There are tons of movies that we love and we do have a family movie night. We have popcorn, drinks and a box of candy with a nice family movie. Recently we just saw Bolt, Marly & Me and I think the next one will be..The Tale of Despereux (sp?).
We just rented Twilight and really liked it. We have many family favorites, from Jumanji to Cars.
My daughter is still little, but of all movies we've watched together, our favorite would have to be Bolt..it was cute, funny and my daughter loved the "bark bark" :)
We also have many family favorites! My favorite would probably be Enchanted. My 4 year olds favorite, believe it or not, is Labyrinth and my dh's favorite is Night at the Museum. We all look forward to Friday night, which is movie night at our house. Another favorite I just remembered is The Never Ending Story, the first one, which we looked for for years and only just found two weeks ago!
We have watched Twilight at least 40 times. We are addicted!! We really like to watch Goonies also.
Oh wow this would be so awesome! We would love some new movies to watch together as a family!!! Thankyou for this oppertunity !
My family loves Madagascar which my two year old calls "My Movie" we bought the Wal Mart pack so we have Madagascar 1&2 plus a bonus movie which I think is the Penguins and they watch it atleast once a week.
