Are zombies the next cool monster?

Woody Harrelson says he thought a zombie was chasing him at a New York airport. Lev Grossman wrote a great article last week in Time magazine, Are Zombies the New Vampires?
The undead are hip! Diablo Cody, the woman behind the movie Juno, is producing a zombie flick. Woody Harrelson will star later this year in Zombieland. According to Time magazine, Twlight is so last year!
Personally, I've never been a zombie fan. I can deal with the vampires but not with the flesh eating undead!

i love all things zombie!!
Zombies scare me! I hope that this is not a new fad. LOL
I have always been a big vampire fan, so to me zombies could never take their place ;-D
Zombies and vampires both can share my love.
I'm on the vampire side, never been a fan of zombies.
i love zombies..... and werewolves..... and vampires....
i hate zombies and always have, i refuse to watch those movies. Vampires rock! (like Spike on Buffy!) lol
give zombies a chance! hehehe. na i don't mind people not liking zombies. i don't like vampires. but monsters will always be in a cycle of popularity. after a few months or so, zombies will be out and a new monster will be popular. it happens quite often. vampires have always appeared to be more sexy, charismatic, etc. zombies are VERY opposite. but just wait, the monster cycle will start, and zombies won't be cool anymore, something else will.
vampire will always be cooler than zombies. The zombies in todays movies aren't true to the original zombie design. They are not fast, and they do not think. They try to make them cool and even though I enjoy a good zombie movie, they will never be better than vampires
I've always been a zombie fan. My BFF has always been a Vampire fan. Because of this, we both watch pretty much anything with either of these in them :)
