For an oldie but goodie, you can't beat The Exorcist! Pea Soup, anyone? I couldn't sleep for weeks after I saw Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween.
Hollywood has created some awesome fright flicks in the few years. The Saw series was way too intense for me but Dark_Princess_2 picks Saw for a good scare. The Ring kept me up for a week. No kidding!

I know it's not traditional scary... but the original When a Stranger Calls still freaks me out!

I LOVE ANY HORROR MOVIE THAT CAN MAKE ME JUMP.
they do come back sometimes
the grudge movie freaks me out. i cant go into my attic at night. even during the day i ask my hubby to go if something is needed from up there. no person is suppose to bend like that.
We rented Saw 3 and 4 last weekend. Very gory, very scarey!
I plan on watching House on Haunted Hill w/Vincent Price. I always liked Poltergeist & House of 1000 Corpses was pretty good. Has anyone seen The Strangers?
