Momversation on Oprah Today! Would You Freak Out If You Met Oprah?

I would totally freak out if I ever got the chance to meet Oprah, how about you?

Four of the Momversation panelists will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show today (check your local listings, and set your DVRs). Panelists Mindy Roberts, Heather Armstrong, Daphne Brogdon, and Karen Walrond will be guests and will discuss "The Secret Lives of Moms."

I've been a guest on Momversation and so has Cafe Kierna, so it's especially fun for us to see today's Oprah show. Mindy Roberts, one of the moms appearing on the show is a good friend of mine. I called her last night to wish her luck.

Mindy was very calm, and mellower than I would be in her situation. Here's the promo of today's show featuring the Momversation moms, if you want to check it out.

Would you like to meet Oprah? Would you be excited if you were on Oprah? It's clear I would be fired up to meet her. Talk to me and tell me what you would do.

If you had asked me 15 years ago, I would have said that I would love to meet her and be excited about the chance.

Now? Not so much.

I love Oprah! I would totally freak out if I were on her show. I'd really have to be passionate about what I was there to talk about, otherwise I'm sure I'd be totally starstruck!! (as opposed to when she pulls people from her audience and announces that she's taken their e-mailed picture and re-created their, say, living room on her set!!! LOL)

I don't watch Oprah anymore. I don't like her using her celebrity status to promote her political views

I didn't get to meet her in person, but she did call me BOTH Mindy and Melinda. I know! Freaky.

No Way I think its silly to get all freaked out about any celeb. They are just people and just because you see them on TV doesn't make them more special. Think about it if you were them wouldn't it get irritating if people that you didn't know were always in your business and wouldn't leave you alone!

I love Oprah, but would not "freak out" if i met her (or anyone else famous). Celebrities are just people, like you & me.

Im tired of Oprah. She needs to stop worrying about the economy. Unless she helps her good pal Obama out of the budget crisis, she should be quiet. I dont want to hear tips from one of the richest women in the world about what I should be cutting down on.

I would not be excited to meet her. I am not a huge fan of hers. Many years ago I would have felt differently. If you gave me tickets and told me I would be guaranteed to meet her I would not go.
