Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart Engaged! What Do You Think?

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are engaged to be married, according to a report from Fox News.

Ford surprised Flockhart with an engagement ring over Valentine's Day weekend. The couple has been together for seven years. People magazine says that Ford proposed while on a family vacation.

What took you so long Indiana Jones? Do you think Harrison Ford took his time proposing or is it just me?

I am not trying to rain on the parade but gee whiz! Harrison Ford is 66 and Calista Flockhart is 44, so it's not like they are too young.

I am truly happy to hear about the engagement because there has been so much sad news recently.

Calista Flockhart is darling! I know I am being nosy and it's none of my business but that's never stopped me before. Take the poll and tell me why Indiana waited so long to pop the question!

My Dh waited 6 years to pop the question.He wanted to finish college first and have a career going. Maybe that is why he waited so long.LOL

My bf and I have been together 8 years and we still aren't engaged. People ask us this question all the time.

while I am pretty sure they aren't the same reasons, I think it is ok the Harrison and Calista waitied. Most stars just jump right in. It is ok to work issues out first and to be for sure.

Marriage is nothing to rush into.

Long engagements are a good thing. So many marry someone they barely know and it usually ends badly. I grew up with my husband so we had a short engagement. We knew each other for 18 years when we walked down the aisle. I think it is great they are engaged. I have met both at charity events and they are really nice people.

Personally i think its about damn time!! But its also nice to see at least one hollywood couple not jumping into things blindly. THey have proven they can have a stable healthy relationship outside of marriage, so things look pretty good for once they are actually married!
