TMZ Rihanna Photo: News or Violation of Privacy?

It is absolutely a violation of privacy, if she did not give permission for that photo to be released, it should not have been released.  There's obviously some jacka$$ looking for money working in that police department.  I hope she heals fully and quickly and those damn paparazzi give her some peace. 

I smell lawsuit!

I think Rihanna should press charges on whoever took that photo and leaked it. They had no right. It is bad enough she got beat up.

Rihanna should sue whoever leaked that photo.  I would not want anyone to see me like that except for the jury that is going to convict that fool who beat her.

Major violation of privacy. I thought that picture would never come out. Guess someone in LAPD will be in big trouble because there doing an internal investigation. Very sad for her to have to deal with this and now have to deal wth her picture being all over the internet and magazines.

Her facebook says the picture was taken by the LAPD and it was given out before rihanna and her people decided to press charges. but she wont say any thing about the photo ANy one can go down to the police station and ask for information abot a case as long as it dosen't involve a minor or as long as its not under investigation. I think it nots not right either way

well, yes, it probably IS a violation of her privacy, however, when one is a "celebrity", there are no longer any "expectations of privacy", apparently. Personally, though it's disturbing to me that ANY woman should have to endure such abuse from a partner or loved one, it MAY be the picture that will help some young wife whose husband regularly beats her, realize that she's not alone, and if someone as rich, famous and fabulous as this woman can get beat up, then maybe it's NOT "her fault". And then she gets the courage to call the police, or contact a shelter for help in getting herself out of the abusive relationship. ALL things can be used for good. I'm sorry this happened to Rhianna, but as I said, maybe, just maybe leaking this photo might help someone else to get out of THEIR abusive world. Let's pray that SOMETHING good comes from it.

Women die everyday at the hands of batterers. Everybody acts like it is none of our business what happens behind closed doors. Until society starts giving these men a hard time and telling them in no uncertain terms that it is wrong, men will continue to get away with it. Anybody watch Jerry or Maury lately? There are men out there who treat their women like property. I heard she took him back.  Women who are battered will leave on average 7 times before they don't go back. Rihanna may be famous but she is a woman first. She needs support and he needs therapy.

sadly its part of being a celeb. if she wants to take action on anyone. its WHO LEAKED the pictured.. TMZ is just doing their job.
