Ann Curry's interview with the Octuplet Mom had 11.3 million viewers tune in, almost double Dateline's usual audience. I think we can expect Nadya Suleman to be a fixture on the talk show scene, including Oprah.
The mother of octuplets is seeking $2 million from media interviews and commercial endorsements to help pay the costs of raising the children, the Times of London reported.
Nadya Suleman isn't relying just on the talk shows. She's using the
Internet to help support her family of 14. CNN reports she's started a Web
site seeking donations. You can visit the website, www.thenadyasulemanfamily.com to check it out for yourself.
Does anyone else think Nadya Suleman had babies as a way to get famous? Get mad at me if you want to but I get a really strange vibe from the Octuplet Mom. Anyone? Bueller?
Talk to me ladies. Nadya Suleman leaves me speechless.

I hope she dont use that money for more invitro!
I hope she is able to provide for her children. They deserve it.
i think there is seriously something wrong with her, her mom said she had an unhealthy obsession with having a big family growing up i feel bad for the babies but not her.....
Yep, using these kids for her advantage, I get that vibe too!
I don't believe she had the latest IVF in an attempt to get famous, but it occurs to me that she enjoys attention very much. Maybe she's just hooked on the whole pregnancy and new baby attention. A truly good mother would be concerned about the raising of babies into good people but she seems to have no comprehension about that part. And as for her idea of a high paying job once she completes college, there is no guarantee for her there.
I watched the interview, too, and like LauraMi261 says, she really doesn't seem to grasp what she's gotten herself into. She talks about making money to support the kids after she graduates, but also talks about giving herself to her children. How can anyone think they can support 14 children, while also giving them all the love and attention they need? Goodness, I'm a SAHM and I run out of energy with just the two I have! I wish her luck, but I really think she should consider adopting out the octuplets. There are so many families desperate for a baby, who do have the time and resources to care for them. I hope this doesn't sound cold hearted, I just feel that would be best for everyone involved. Not that I know her personally, of course.
I agree kryxena.
I don't understand why the Dr.'s went ahead and put so many eggs inside given her situation, she's single, not saying that single women can't do anything on their own. but she admitted that she had to have help with health and welfare... the sad part is she's using this to get more money because her autistic son gets 600 bux a month not all those octuplets are going to be 100% healthy and normal so she will get even more money!!! gr....!!!!!!!!
I agree that I think she wants/needs the attention...look at her...she has made herself look an awful lot like Angelina Jolie and apparently has even sent letters to Angelina. I think she has some deep seeded psychological issues...I feel bad for the babies and irritated that any dr. would do IVF on her after she has so many children so close together in age already. Surely it couldn't be good for her body to have back to back IVF's? I just hope those babies get the love and attention they deserve.
