Photo by: ShowtimeDexter's Michael C. Hall married his co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his sister on the Showtime series. I know it's a TV show. But the on-screen siblings getting hitched in real life gives me the creeps.
I wasn't going to say anything. But MamaPop's Good Squad Sarah had the same creepy feeling! Sarah's thoughts about the real life marriage:
I even typed their real names and I still feel like it is incest. I think I watched too much Six Feet Under because I can't help but feeling like Keith is going to be super pissed about this.
Do any of you have this same creepy feeling? I'm not saying it's right or rational, I'm just asking! Tell me.

I don't watch the show. Yet, they are actors. Paid to play a role. I tend to watch British shows and movies. The same group of actors are in them. One movie they will be lovers, the next brothers and sisters, BIL and SIL. I never think anything of it. Fantasy versus reality.
The part I find creepy is watching your newly wed husband do a love scene with another woman.
That doesn't bother me, it's when they play parent and child and are dating or married that would creep me out.
Tom Hanks and Sally Field were lovers in the movie Punchline. In Forrest Gump, they were mother and son. They are actors. Plus, on the show Dexter and Deb aren't blood related either.
My hubby and I did a play in community theater several years ago where we played twins. The staff and volunteers at the theater had a field day with it (we are from Louisiana - insert incest joke here) and it was a lot of fun.
This upset me. I have no idea why, but I have had such a crush on Michael C. Hall, lol. Hmmm... good luck to him and his new wife though.
They actually are blood because they have the same dad. Dexter learned that when he found out about his real mom, his dad's CI. Oh geez! I love Dexter.
I thought it was weird that he married his TV sister only because I am so attached to the show. But it's really not weird at all. I've loved Michael C. Hall since seeing him in Six Feet Under (loved that show)! It was hard enough for me to accept he wasn't gay since his character on that show was!
she's hot- GO DEXTER!!
no I dont think it's creepy, it's not like they are brother and sister in real life
I LOVE Michael C. Hall, but she seems like a strange match for him. You know, cause I know them both personally...haha!
