Good Books for Cabin Fever!

Encyclopedia of Immaturity, Cool Mom Picks

I've got Cabin Fever! It's January and I want to escape to an island during the cold weather but the paying the bills thing makes my beach party impossible. If you are suffering from the same fever, here are some books to read. An island would be better.

The Encyclopedia of Immaturity book! How did I miss this book before the holidays! It's so completely worthless and fun...perfect for me.

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West is awesome. My daughter got it for Christmas and I read it while she played all her cool new games. Loved it! I'm sure you've read it or others in the series but if you haven't, read it.

From Dead to Worse is the latest in the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Mysteries. The HBO series,True Blood is based on the Sookie Stackhouse books. You don't have to be a fan of vampires to love these books. They are quirky, funny, scary, romantic. Very hard to describe.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm always searching for something "new" to read. I absolutely loved "Wicked", the rest of that series, and many others by Gregory Maguire. He's fantastic!

If you liked Wicked....wait until you read Son of a Witch. It's even better... FANTASTIC BOOKS.

Thanks for the reads! I am going to try them out. I love to read! I don't find as much time for it anymore and I have a small stack going but I am always up to adding more to the list. I love anything written by Janet Evanovich, she is laugh out loud funny in her Stephanie Plum series!

Wicked is an excellent book! I loved it!

I also love anything written by Arthur Nersesian.

I loved Wicked too. I read Son of a Witch and I really liked that one better than the first. Now I just need to go out and buy the next book, A Lion among men.

My son is reading Wicked for AR points in school.

Thanks for the info on the Sookie Stackhouse books. Sounds like a great series.

You might want to try the Aisling Grey Gardian series by Katie MacAlister. She also has the next set called The Silver Dragons. They are really funny too.

Thanks,I will check these books out! I'm reading Beach Road,By James Patterson right now.I love to read.Some of my Favorite Authors are James Patterson,Nichols Sparks,Nora Roberts,And The Gift,By Richard Paul Evans is Fantastic if you haven't read it yet!
