Celebitchy reports neither Tom Cruise or Nicole Kidman attended their son's premiere. Tom was promoting his new movie in New York so he wasn't in town. However, last December he flew cross country to attend his friend Will Smith's premiere of I am Legend. Being out of town didn't stop him from attending Smith's movie premiere? I realize we can't know what goes on behind-the-scenes but that's pretty odd.
Nicole Kidman did not attend her son's big event, she was in Nashville with husband Keith Urban and baby.
It's pretty rare to see Isabella and Connor with their mom. But Star Magazine reports that Tom Cruise has a custody agreement with Nicole that limits her access to her kids.

I think he's a complete loon and is probably every bit as weird as the media portrays him, or more. Usually I would think the media was blowing stuff out of proportion, but not in his case. He's nutty as they come. Oh, well, except Michael Jackson, he's probably nuttier.

Oh yes, hes weird. Its just one thing after another with him. Makes you scratch your head every time. I would not doubt that he had ways to keep his kids with him. I guarantee you that hes manipulative and would find a way to keep Suri away from her mother if Katie ever left him. He thinks way too much of himself.

I cant believe there would be limited involvement with their mom. No way would I allow that especially when the guys a nutjob.
Hopefully Connor isnt too disappointed or upset that neither parent showed up for his big moment.
I think he is crazy....and I think it is terrible the way those two kids from the first marriage have been brushed aside by BOTH parents....
I think the press is often too easy on this guy. He's a freakin' whacko. If you understand body language at all, his possessiveness over Katie, especially at the very beginning of their relationship, was actually seriously scary. You could see it in the way he held the back of her neck.
I also think that they kind of have been pushed to the side.Both parents have a new marraige and their own kids so they are just kind of there.I never see Tom or Nicole flaunt and red capet them like they do suri and nicole's new baby.
I say we all collectively adopt them..makes my heart ache to think two lovable kids are being treated so callously while so much attention is being lavished on the couple's "new' offspring. I realize the first two children were adopted(even more reason to show them unconditional love), but apparantly that adoption didn't "take" well....Tom Cruise is freakin' crazy and I'll be willing to bet Katie is not at all at liberty to live her own life anymore...Looks kinda like even Nicole had to make a run for it....
