Kate Middleton Slammed for Looking Too 'Middle-Aged'

Kate Middleton

Yikes. When it comes to her style, it seems like Kate Middleton really can’t catch a break with her critics.

British celebrity and fashion designer Millie Mackintosh apparently thinks the Duchess is laying it a little too heavy on the raccoon eyes and wants to give her a makeover.

Apparently, Mackintosh thinks Middleton is looking a little too “middle-aged” these days and wants to “sex up” her look. Her suggestions?

According to the UK’s Mirror, the former Made in Chelsea star thinks the Duchess needs to totally revamp her look, despite the fact that many people simply go nuts over her clean-cut yet sophisticated style. She told the website:

I would love to give the Duchess of Cambridge a makeover. I think Kate wears too much eyeliner. She would look great if she toned down the eyes, wore some bright lipstick and mixed up her hairstyle -- a scraped-back high pony would look fantastic. She’d look great in one of my little wrap dresses as she has such a gorgeous body and I think it would be fun -- less middle-aged -- and a bit sexier without being too revealing.

First off, not every girl’s eyeliner game is perfect, and if there was a class available on how to apply it like a pro, I would be the first person to sign up. I wear eyeliner on days I leave the house because it helps me look less tired than I am and it’s a quick fix to looking ready-to-go when you’re really not. If the Duchess feels comfortable wearing eyeliner every day, then why should she drop her makeup routine?

At this stage of our lives, I’m sure many women know what looks good on them and what doesn’t, so why try fixing something when it’s not broken? Same goes with the hair. If Kate feels great wearing her hair down, so be it, even though I think she would look fabulous in a clean ponytail, too. But then again, it’s her hair, her style, and her prerogative. Something obviously must be working; otherwise, she wouldn’t be the most talked-about royal and celebrity on the planet.

Do you think Kate Middleton needs a makeover?

Kate Middleton is BEAUTIFUL just as she is. Everyone needs to back off. Kate has the money if she wanted a make over. There are millions that would love to look and act just like Kate Middleton. Princess Diana would be so proud of Prince William's wife. She dresses very well. There's not a thing I could say negative about her. The love she shows Prince William and their son is beautiful. Oh, how Princess Diana
would be. I pray Prince Harry find's his equal.
In everything Kate Middleton does, she has a way of reminding us of the love Prince William has for his Mom and keeps her memory alive.
Kate Middleton you are beautiful the way you are.

Kate Middleton is GORGEOUS just the way she is.

No! Leave Kate alone.

Claudette Ralls

At first they loved everything about her, now she is old news. I think she should do what she feels is right for her, and everyone else butt out.

She definitely is in a rut- she does wear the same hair the same make-up
Pulling her hair up would be a nice change- she is set in her ways for being so young

I think she is absolutely beautiful and as for middle aged, that is ridiculous. She looks like a young girl. The person who said this apparently needs some publicity for her business.

Keep your natural looks Kate. You are beautiful. Do not let any surgeon/chemical change that.
