The 'Married at First Sight' Couples That May Be Headed for Divorce (VIDEO)

If you're a betting person, I think it's time to start an office pool about which couples on the radical experiment Married at First Sight will make it. Will it be Jamie Otis and Doug HehnerCortney Hendrix and Jason Carrion? Will Monet Bell and Vaughn Copeland surprise us and turn their relationship around? In today's exclusive show below, I break down episode 7: "Social Life."

The clock continues to tick for these couples, and there are only three episodes left. It's clear that each of them are feeling the pressure and taking risks they wouldn't consider under normal circumstances. Cortney and Jason take on each other's performance careers, hers as a burlesque dancer and his as a wrestler. This brings up a quandary: as on-camera talent, what activities are "reality-TV-safe" and which are risky? Despite their enthusiastic support of one another, Cortney made a move that could be dangerous, depending on how Jason feels about it. What about? His mother.

This week, I'm convinced that Jamie is letting Doug in much deeper and faster than she consciously realizes. When they have his parents over for dinner, Doug's mother takes on the Greek Chorus role we see all over docu-soap reality television, asking questions many viewers have likely been thinking as well. As part of this discussion, the producers use a device that has now become standard for them. Can you guess what it is?

Finally, it's not news to any viewer that Monet and Vaughn are in a flame-out, crash-and-burn, mayday tailspin. Dr. Pepper Schwartz suggests a couple's cooking lesson to spark communication, and in today's episode I break down what surprised me about it. Will they make it, or is it too late? I give you my opinion; tell me in the comments whether you agree.

I think that there's something weird going on with Jason and Cortney just with him not even telling Cortney his mom's name. Weird! I definitely think something is off there. But I'm completely hoping that Doug and Jamie make it! Vaughn and Monet i really don't expect them to make it.

I don't expect Vaughn and Monet to make it. After seeing the month that last week's show was filmed in {April} and really thinking about it, I believe that Jamie & Doug, Cortney & Jason are going to stay married and are happy. Monet and Vaughn, however, won't.

Why?

Because the other two moved into new apartments, even if the location wasn't exactly helpful towards their careers {I think Doug and Jamie should have stayed in her old place as it was so much nicer}, they made the compromise. Vaughn and Monet are still in her place as she refused to compromise.

Just my thought, but I really can't see them staying married no matter how much they're sexually compatible.

I think all three couples make it. They are living a marriage crash course with all expert help. Why wouldn't they make it last. I have a quarter riding on this opinion.

I think Courtney and Jason will make it for sure. Idk about jaime and Doug as she has come off seriously bitchy and she is a reality show hopper. Vaughn and monet won't make it at all, when you argue on your honeymoon or even a few days after you meet your doomed.

With Vaughn and Monet they may make it, and surprise us all! My parents argue like that and have been married for 40 years! Some people like relationships like that. Not me, I met my husband at my first duty station and we only knew each other 2 months before we got married but almost 20 years later we are still happily married. I think both people have got,  to want to stay married and not throw around the word divorce when things don't go their way.

What frustrates and angers me beyond words is the fact that millions of gay and lesbian couples cannot legally marry in this country, yet this program makes a mockery of a right that should belong to every American. I have been with my partner for seventeen years and cannot legally marry her in the state in which we live. These people have never even met each other and can legally marry, based solely upon their gender. There is something very wrong with this picture.

Suzanne, I feel your frustration! My brother got married 3 years ago to his husband after being with him almost as long as I have been with my husband. It's insane how the world is.

I think all three will make it - for how long, who knows? As for Vaughn and Monet, I agree with 1 Choctaw. Some relationships thrive on dysfunction; it's the "crazy glue" that keeps them together.

I'm pulling for Monet and Vaughn. I want them to make that connection but Monet needs to compromise more. I'm not sure about Jason and Courtney. I think he will be mad when he hears what she said. If I had a family member that sick I would expect positive prayers from everyone close to me. Never give up. People have made it. I think Jamie and Doug will make it.
