The final Twilight film premiered two years ago, and our vampire romance withdrawals are real. Fortunately, Robert Pattinson will forever be associated with the sparkly blood-sucker, so we'll always crave new information about his iconic role. But his latest comments will leave you scratching your head because, apparently, Twilight was Robert's "hardest part."
Believe it or not, the role of the brooding vampire was the actor's most challenging character yet, and shockingly, his answer might just make a little bit of sense:
I think Twilight’s probably the hardest part I’ve done because to do it for five movies, it’s really hard to think of stuff that’s maybe not boring. Especially if you don’t die. Because what’s the drama? You’re not scared of anything! And that’s the whole essence of drama: life and death.
Even though we may not exactly buy that Edward Cullen was such a complex and difficult character to play, continuing to reprise him for five separate films could definitely get hard. Plus, clearly, he's not dying. That's vampire life for ya!

But apparently, that wasn't enough and Robert wasn't finished completely bashing his acting skills. He even went on to say this about his auditioning techniques:
I just become a bullshit artist! That’s when I start acting! I’m really much better at doing it when the cameras aren’t rolling ...
Now, now, Robert, let's not start knocking that talent. There's no need to start getting self-deprecating here. Sure, the sulking vampire wasn't exactly the most developed character we've ever seen, but we loved it nonetheless.
And as far as the auditions go? Any chance we can see some leaked footage? We'd like to take a look at the "much better" work ...
