Real Reason 'RHONJ's Amber Marchese & Nicole Napolitano Called a Truce (VIDEO)

real housewives of new jersey

In a somewhat surprising turn of events on last night's The Real Housewives of New Jersey, someone realized that having two brand new cast members fighting like she-devils is perhaps not the best thing, since none of the viewers are emotionally invested in them yet. In today's exclusive video episode, I break down the summit meeting between Amber Marchese and Nicole Napolitano, as well as who I think deserves a spinoff. Also today, Kris Jenner takes a dive on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and was Lamar Odom's appearance intentional? All this plus the season finale of Botched!

Clearly there are people in Bravo-land trying to keep this season of RHONJ from becoming too dark, at least too dark too soon. I appreciated the evergreen family scenes interspersed throughout last night's episode as a nice counterpoint. In today's Real Deal, I discuss what may have happened behind-the-scenes in organizing the great make-up between Amber and Nicole and where they go from here.

Next, on KUWTK, something SO random happened that I wondered whether producers engineered it. Do you really think it's a coincidence that French MontanaKhloe KardashianKim Kardashian, her buddy Jonathan Cheban, AND Lamar Odom all show up in the same place at the same time? I break it all down for you as well as what may or may not have happened. Also, is Momager Kris intentionally taking a dive this season?

Finally, the season 1 finale of Botched provided yet more producer surprises, which I appreciated. It's also very, VERY smart from a season 2 casting perspective. Why? Watch today's exclusive video below now!

Do you think the Nicole/Amber truce will last?

This show is WAY too short!  I could totally do 22 minutes of Alex's recaps!
