Khloe Kardashian's maybe-boyfriend, French Montana, outraged fans recently when he admitted to "capitalizing" on Khloe's fame in order to boost his music career. A few days after French's weird video for "Don't Panic" was released, which Khloe stars in, the rapper gave an interview with Billboard magazine, where he said, "I want to capitalize on it. I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on."
Kind of a strange thing to say about someone you're dating, no? But not nearly as weird as how Khloe publicly reacted to the rude comments.
After French's remarks were released, she tweeted:
It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don't care.— Khloé (@khloekardashian) August 17, 2014
Huh? She was the first person to see that French was using her for his career, but she just doesn't care? That's sort of an odd way to go about a relationship. And, you know, life.
It isn't clear if Khloe and French are in fact together right now, but either way, I'm guessing that Khloe is insinuating that she's sort of using him, as well. Perhaps he's just someone fun to hang out with while she tries to heal from her divorce with Lamar? A rebound romance?
I hope that's what she means. Otherwise, if she's cool with French dating her solely for the fact that she's good publicity for his career, that's messed up on so many levels. You can do better than that, Khloe.
What do you think of French's comments?
